We all recognize the importance of good nutrition, but many may not be aware of the nutritional help that essential oils can bring.
I've always been conscious of my diet and eating well, but as I've incorporated essential oils into my lifestyle, I've received added nutritional benefits. Why is that? Because essential oils act as catalysts that help deliver nutrients through cell membranes and assist in the removal of cellular wastes.
I've found that essential oils bring nutritional help in three particular areas.

An often overlooked aspect of good nutrition is cleansing. When we consume food without adequate fiber, maldigested proteins become trapped within the many folds of the intestines. This trapped food then begins to putrefy, causing toxic byproducts to build up and eventually be released into your system. Because of this, cleansing of the digestive system should be ongoing--especially for those over 40.
The most basic way to accomplish ongoing cleansing is by eating a high-fiber diet, drinking plenty of good water (one half ounce of water per pound of body weight), and periodic fasting (anyone with known health issues should consult a physician before fasting). You can also add the essential oils lemon or peppermint to your daily drinking water to promote ongoing cleansing of your system..
Once or twice a year an extended cleanse is recommended. One very popular cleanse is called the Master Cleanse. There are also specific cleanses that one can do to address the colon, liver, parasites, heavy metals, and even the blood. Anyone interested in these cleanses are advised to get some advice from someone experienced in this area because the different cleanses are best followed in a particular order.
Some essential oils – in addition to lemon and peppermint – that aid in cleansing are melaleuca alternifolia, rosemary, bergamot, fennel, German chamomile, melissa, and basil, due to their ability to promote peristalsis and increase digestive secretions.
Although cleansing may take a little getting used to, it is an important nutritional help, and does much to strengthen the immune system.
People today are accustomed to taking a wide variety of supplements to improve their overall health. These include vitamins, minerals, herbs, and fish oil. Unfortunately, many of these supplements bring limited results or are entirely wasted because they are not assimilated by the body.
This is where essential oils can prove to be such a significant nutritional help. Because of their ability to work so powerfully at the cellular level, supplements enhanced by essential oils are much more inclined to be used profitably by the body as opposed to being merely excreted, as is so often the case.

I've taken supplements for years. Being one who is able to read my body well, I could often tell that certain supplements were doing me no good and just passing their way through my system.
But this is not the case with the supplements I'm now using that contain essential oils. I can tell I'm absorbing them well, and that they're doing my body a whole lot of good. So much good, that I don't want to be without them.
For example, I love the fish oil supplement I'm taking. Not only is this product made from fish oil that is completely free of heavy metals, PCBs, and dioxins, it is also fortified with essential oils of lemongrass, myrrh, clove, and German chamomile.
Lemongrass provides cardiovascular protection by maintaining cholesterol levels. Myrrh helps to keep the fatty acids in this product stable. Clove has the highest antioxidant levels of any essential oil, and German chamomile provides support that helps to ward off inflammation in the body.
We have been learning a lot lately about whole foods being the best when it comes to optimal nutrition. The problem is that a steady supply of whole foods can be hard to maintain--and a little expensive, too.

Thankfully, there is a powerful whole food supplement that our family takes every day. It's called Ningxia Red. The main ingredient of this whole food product is the Wolfberry from the NingXia Province in China.
Other ingredients include pomegranate, blueberry, and raspberry. The essential oils lemon and orange are contained as well.
The Wolfberry is known to combat a host of health issues. Those suffering from concerns related to cancer, aging, the heart, the brain, as well as many other conditions, have benefited from regular consumption of the Wolfberry. The reason why the Wolfberry is so potent is that it strikes at the root of so many health problems – inflammation and oxidation.
Our family takes an ounce of this whole food supplement daily. It gives a tremendous boost to the immune system, empowers with energy, and tastes great. By taking Ningxia Red, I know my family is getting valuable nutritional help. And thanks to the essential oils, I know it is working to maintain the functioning of the cells of those I love.
By the way, Ningxia Red is a much healthier alternative to popular vitamin water, too.
And, essential oils go great with your regular drinking water as well.
In my experience with nutrition and staying well, I've found that it's the essential oils that make the difference in my family's well-being. The nutritional help that essential oils bring make them a great support as we contend with the many assaults against our health.
